Overview
Fanzo is a global social sports platform that links users with venues by telling them what sports are showing. It's also a platform for brands to engage directly with fans and pubs.
What I’ve done
I've worked closely with Fanzo, formerly MatchPint, for the last few years. From pushing their product strategy and design. I've supported a few rebrands and renaming and created their design systems v1 and v2.
I have also begun mentoring their design team, steering the art direction and product thinking while getting my hands dirty on many of their social games to drive engagement and revenue.
Website
I redesigned the responsive website twice. I created templates for all the essential pages: detail pages, listings pages, and the home page. I pushed to have more propositional elements on the pages and other support pages targeted at their different audiences, venues and brands.
app
I have defined a lot of what the iOS and Android app is—mainly design updates over the years, new flows and feature updates.
The app is a rich experience with epics like claiming rewards, geolocation check-in, social games, favouriting and search.
social games
Fanzo has many social games they sell to brands as campaigns during significant sporting events like the world cup and the Six Nations. Working closely with people at Fanzo, we've created multiple games.
Outcome
I've supported the growth of Fanzo's revenue and engagement with multiple campaigns and user flow.
Working on Fanzo has given me the hours on top of my work to improve my visual and product design skills.
I've also really enjoyed the opportunity lately to mentor the Fanzo design team and see them take ownership of the design system.
