About

👋 Hey, I’m Rhodes – a London-based Nigerian-British product designer currently leading UI/UX at Loop.

I’ve spent the past decade designing digital experiences across e-commerce, health, insurance, and pet tech. I’m all about solving complex problems with a calm head, a touch of craft, and a people-first mindset. Right now at Loop, I’m helping make noise sensitivity care more intuitive, inclusive, and just better looking—whether launching new drops, optimising flows, or building our new design system, Echo.

Before Loop, I designed everything from dog training platforms and subscription journeys to high-end and high-scale experiences for brands like Virgin Voyages, Bonhams, and Compare the Market. I was also part of the award-winning team behind Ada, the medical chatbot, which picked up Silver at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in 2017.

I earned my master’s at NYU’s ITP, where I first got into human-centred design and the relationship between technology and storytelling—it’s shaped a lot of how I work today. I’ve also got dyslexia, which I see as my superpower. It helps me spot patterns others miss and keeps my thinking fresh and unexpected.

Outside of work, I’m a dad to two amazing boys and live in Leyton. My secret superpower? Getting babies to sleep (seriously). Fun fact: My grandmother was made an honorary prince in Benin City, even though she was a woman. I like to think some of that quiet strength lives on in how I move through the world—with calm, creativity, and a love of people.

I used to be an INTP through and through, but fatherhood shifted me—I’m definitely an INFP now. Still thoughtful and curious, just with a bit more heart leading the way.
